Group Classes

Every Group Class lasts for one hour and is led by a certified Fitness Trainer who is also certified in Behavioral Principles & Strategies through the Maryland DDA. Classes are capped at 10 people and are led by two instructors so we can provide proper oversight and customization for you.

These classes focus on improving our Member’s body awareness, balance & stability, flexibility, functional movement, strength, endurance, speed, agility, social opportunities, nutritional habits and overall heathy behaviors. Classes consist of fun and interactive exercises focusing on a specific, fitness-related theme. Throughout the warm-up period, each Member is given a chance to introduce themselves and lead. This high-energy fitness/dance class that aims to increase member’s body awareness, balance & stability, flexibility, strength, endurance, speed, coordination, agility & social opportunities. This class is intended for people of all abilities. Those unable to independently follow visual and verbal instructions must attend with a Supporter (volunteer or staff). Music is incorporated into the classes to encourage rhythmic movement and participation!
