About Me

Founder, CEO
Certified Personal Trainer (NASM)
Certified in Behavioral Principles & Strategies I, II, III & IV (DDA)

“Growing up, I always found fitness and athletics to be a great way to socialize and improve my confidence. In high-school, I played varsity basketball, soccer and baseball. Following high-school graduation, I spent a summer in Ethiopia volunteering at the Fregenet Foundation, organizing athletic programs for Ethiopian children from severely impoverished families. This experience helped me realize the positive impact that structured fitness could have on the mental, physical and emotional wellbeing of those participating. I graduated from the University of Maryland with a BA in Psychology after organizing a fundraiser that brought in over $22,000 on behalf of the Fregenet Foundation & Ethiopia Reads. After experiencing 5 knee surgeries, I gave up competitive sports and began studying exercise science. I received my Personal Training certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine and began working as a Personal Trainer, and as a Support Counselor for adults with disabilities at the Jubilee Association of Maryland. I founded Spirit Club in 2013 and am so grateful to lead a career this fills such an important need in the community.”
